Wire-Line/Compression Fitting
Installation Technique

                        
  Example wire-line retainer with
compression fitting

STEP 1: Drill a 3/8” hole into side of a thin walled, deep 1” socket half way up length for wire to pass thru. Note: Wire can be seen passing thru drilled hole in Fig 2.

STEP 2: Install Wire Line Transmitter and use DCI tool to clock into position.

STEP 3: Install rear retainer with first stage of compression unit attached.

STEP 4: Torque retainer hand tight into position.

STEP 5: Thread black rubber “seal” piece (not shown) and second stage of compression unit onto wire.

STEP 6: Apply a small amount of grease to outside of black rubber piece.

STEP 7: Torque second stage of compression unit into place.

Installation complete.
